From the end of September 2024, filmmakers from Canada, Germany, Norway, Austria, Ireland, UK  and South Africa who want to realise their debut, second or third feature film as a co-production can apply for the JETS Initiative. As in last years 20 – 24 potential film projects by qualifying filmmakers will be selected and the producer/director teams will be invited to a pitching session for a two-country co-production at the Berlin International Film Festival 2024.

Deadline for submissions is the 12th December 2024. For further information, please send us an email to info@wepfilms.com with details of the project to receive our JETS Call for 2025 by email or check the websites of our main funders from 10th of October 2024 onwards.

The JETS Film Initiative, organised by WEP Productions and JETS Filmverleih & Vertrieb, is once again funded by its main funders Telefilm Canada, HessenFilm & Medien, nordmedia and Filminvest Norway.

Note: As we are currently in discussions with other participating countries and funders, additional filmmakers might attend in the JETS Initiative 2025. Final confirmation will be posted at the beginning of the New Year 2025.
