From October 2025, filmmakers from Canada, Germany, Norway, Ireland, UK and special selected teams from other countries who want to realise their debut, second or third feature film as a co-production can apply for the JETS Initiative. As in last years 20 – 24 potential film projects by qualifying filmmakers will be selected and the producer/director/writer teams will be invited to a pitching session for finding co-production partners during the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in 2026.

Deadline for submissions is the 15th December 2025. For further information, please send us an email to info@wepfilms.com with details of the project to receive our JETS Call for 2026 by email or check the websites of our main funders from the 15th of October 2025 onwards.

The JETS Film Initiative, organised by WEP Productions and JETS Filmverleih & Vertrieb, is funded by its main funders Telefilm Canada, nordmedia, HessenFilm & Medien, Filminvest Norway and other additional funders and supporters to be announced at later date.

Note: As we are currently in discussions with other participating countries and funders, additional filmmakers might attend in the JETS Initiative 2026. Final confirmation will be posted at the beginning of the New Year 2026.
