Our fascinating documentary tells the story of sharks in Africa and features Dr Ryan Daly, Thandeka Hlongwa, Daniel Wentzel and Hugues Vitry. Viewers are pulled into the sea and taken on a journey of discovery, where they learn that sharks, the so-called apex predators, are an integral part of the underwater ecosystem. Without them, life under the sea as we know it would not exist. After more than two years of research and production, we are proud to announce that this special documentary was completed in early 2026 in collaboration with our partners Film Mamba, People’s Planet, Soundwood Media, and ORF Enterprises. Distribution has already begun through ORF Enterprises and JETS Filmverleih/Vertrieb, and we are delighted to announce that this beautiful yet critical portrayal of the marine environment will be available to the public from 2027 onwards.
